There is a new phenomenon out there. We are seeing many videos of people in their 20’s, mostly women, who are angry about being financially unable to participate in what was once regular American life.
They’re told that if they do things right and play by the rules, they’ll be fine.
Not so fast.
If you check out housing prices, inflation, property tax, city tax, state tax, federal tax, college tuition, college loan interest rates, mortgage interest rates … what is a young person supposed to do? Anyone in the NYC area, or somewhere like that is effectively blocked from being able to do what they’re TOLD they can do by ‘the system’.
The messaging is worse than being mixed, it’s inverted.
You can thank the Federal Reserve Bank of the United States, and the so called leaders of what was once a bastion of freedom and opportunity for the situation.
As usual, young people are being told to blame anyone and everyone else for this. At some point, something is going to break. I don’t think it pays to be oblivious to the financial plight of our young people. Watch the gap: the wealth gap.
