It’s “Persuasive Presentation” time of the year for the 12th graders. My SUPA class has woken up!
We were discussing controversial topics, running down the list of things that are traditionally on the docket. The discussion was, as it has been over the years, wonderful, as these students haven’t been poisoned by corporate media. Their bullshit-ometers aren’t broken. We discussed things that would get you canceled, maligned, called names, pilloried, or otherwise slapped around by your MSNBC watching friends on Fakebook.
A bit of a heads up: this is how things go in MVHS Room 108. If you’re looking for any organization’s or person’s standard party line … it isn’t here.
