Trump Wins the 2024 Election
How did Donald Trump win? The way I see it, there are five easy-to-spot reasons for this.
The first one would be looking back at Trump’s working-class message in 2016. The working-class message was Donald Trump talking in a way that Democrats used to talk.
Before the 2016 election, Donald Trump was talking about building a wall and restoring working class America to where it had been. The elite, the Chamber of Commerce, the elite blue blood Republicans like Bush, Cheney and Bill Kristol and their ilk all went running to the mountaintop screaming about how, if Donald Trump talks about building a wall, he (and Republicans) will lose the Hispanic vote for 50 years. The United States Chamber of Commerce, which is basically the best friend and mouthpiece of gigantic transnational corporations came out against Donald Trump.
In a spirited and astute political move, all he did was talk about the working class instead of race. The top of the Republican Party, as well as the Democrats, were substituting race for class. This was a huge mistake. Our overlords’ ‘divide and conquer’ strategy by using race backfired, as people are concerned about their financial and physical safety above all else.
The second part is that this message is an easy one to hear if you're willing to listen to people who either are, or were, strong Democratic voices in the recent past. I'll give you a short list:
Glenn Greenwald
Matt Taibbi
Caitlin Johnstone
Cynthia McKinney
Walter Kirn
Aaron Maté
These are all people who understand what an older, more balanced, and effective Democratic Party was. The old Democratic Party did not talk about race all the time. If you had stayed with some of these sources, you would have stayed grounded, and Trump’s popularity would not be a mystery by any stretch of the imagination.
They didn't follow this common and absurd white, liberal, woke myth. The myth is that all the people of color, to use a term today, are aligned in unison against the wealthy, white, predominantly male, patriarchal culture of the United States. That's academia talk. That's MSNBC, CNN talk, spoken by people who make $100,000 or more per episode (Maddow), have no relationship with working people other than seeing to it that their nannies and maids and butlers and drivers get paid. No real people talk in race-based terms like that.
You can't have a political candidate talking constantly about the white male as an evil being. You're not going to engender support. The other part is you can't talk about race all the time, and the woke myths that are ubiquitous on Facebook simply don't hold under real life scrutiny.
I'll give you a short example, and it leads us to point three - immigration. The reason why Trump has gained, in leaps and bounds, in the Black community and the Hispanic community, is because those people, those workers, just like everybody else, doesn't want an influx of new immigrants taking their jobs and working for peanuts - working for next to nothing. Additionally, no one is okay with gang members from Central and South America coming up and taking over apartment complexes.
You were told by your terrible, corporate media source or clueless friend on Facebook that that was a fake story, but it wasn’t. Turns out in Colorado and in Chicago that there were buildings that were being taken over by Central and South American gangs and kicking the regular people out.
Think about it this way: no one voted for an open border.
No one voted to say, okay, let's have people come in illegally and give them money and give them a phone and give them a place to live, and everyone will be okay with that. The reason why the Chamber of Commerce and the blue bloods of the Republican Party and the Democratic Party, very quietly, are okay with unfettered, illegal immigration is that it keeps wages down. If you flood the labor market, you don't need to worry about minimum wage or living wage or any of those kinds of terms that get thrown in your face constantly.
You don't need to worry about that because there will be someone willing to work for less and or off the books, and the people at the top of the pyramid save immensely. I don't know if you run any kind of business, but your two biggest expenses, particularly if you have a brick-and-mortar business like we do, are payroll and rent. And they're the clearly two largest costs, and if I can keep payroll down, I'm going to do it, whether it's a small business with three employees or a mega corporation.
So, nobody voted for this. There was no congressional vote. “Let's open the border and just have people come in, get free stuff, and take jobs away from Americans who've been here anywhere from two months to 10 generations!” “Yes, and let’s call anyone who disagrees with this a racist!”
Does that sound like a winning political formula to you?
Nobody voted for any of it. I don't know any federal vote, state vote, local vote for opening the southern border - but we're told that a sanctuary city is okay, and that if you have negative opinions about people coming in and siphoning of your tax dollar earned government schools and services, well, you’re the issue and you’re also a bigot. Do you still think that’s a winning formula?
And if you are paying attention, even the salamander-like, chicken-hawk, worm, turd that is Ben Shapiro early on, before he figured out which way the wind was blowing, called Trump and his supporters racists. And why? For promising to slam the border closed. So, these facts are all out there, easy to find, easy to track down, and Trump's win in 2024, last night, November 5th, wasn't hard to predict, particularly the blowout winds in Florida and Texas. Think about that for a minute. Two states where you can operate your entire time, beginning to end, speaking only Spanish, and Trump won both states by a lot.
Lastly, P’nut the squirrel. It turns out a Karen in Texas called the authorities in New York incessantly because she saw a video of a squirrel in New York dancing and doing skits and little tricks, and she figured that that was animal abuse, and so she pestered and hectored and Karen'd the authorities thousands of miles away. They brought in the authorities, and they euthanized P’nut the squirrel. Nobody likes that. Nobody wants that.
The AWFL, affluent, white, female liberal, is the worst of all the species of human out there. I don't even know who's second place, but it's a distant second, and people are tired them, so all the Karens out there who can't simply leave anyone alone, who call to get someone canceled, this is probably your wake-up call. Those days are over.
On the conspiratorial side of things, it’s obvious the signal went out in this election that there was to be no steal, no shenanigans, no pipe-bursting or other events all happening simultaneously at 3 a.m. to increase vote tallies. The call went out. The power elite know what they're doing. There's a method to their madness.
So, rest in power, P’nut. You had a role in human history today, probably the greatest role ever in a squirrel's life, and we are all grateful and thankful for you.
Yes, but . . . no one, from either side (and yes, the lefties are going crazy explaining "why America got it wrong.") mentions how we may only be dimly, but are aware that Venezuela was a democracy in the lifetime of anyone over 35. Then along comes a guy who promises he is going to give everything to everyone, and magically, look at Venezuela now.
Harris ran such a terrible campaign in 2020 that she had to drop out before the first primary.
The DNC refused to hold primaries then anointed Harris, who promptly promised give aways such as her $10,000 to anyone who wants to start a business, et al.
I do think there was an underlying sense of unease that was magnified by the Dems insisting that Democracy was at stake. That was something people could believe but perhaps saw the threat coming from someone who never earned a single primary vote.
